What is Pool Rummy and why is it so popular?
JILI's Pool Rummy is a strategy-based card game that has won the hearts of millions of players across South Asia, including Bangladesh.
Pool Rummy is a popular variant of the Rummy card game where points are pooled each round. The game is made by world-renowned game developer JILI and is available on the 9bat platform with a fully mobile-friendly interface.
Pool Rummy typically supports 2 to 6 players. Each player is dealt 13 cards and the goal is to arrange them into valid sequences and sets and "declare" before everyone else. The player who declares first receives the total points of the cards remaining in the other players' hands — these points form the basis of the main prize.

Smart strategies to win
In Pool Rummy, strategy makes the real difference alongside luck.
- Form a pure sequence first — a valid declaration requires at least one pure sequence (without a joker).
- Discard high-value cards quickly — holding 10-point cards like A, K, Q, J increases your loss if you are beaten.
- Watch your opponents' moves — pay attention to which cards they pick up or discard to get an idea of their hand.
- Use the joker wisely — a joker can replace any card, so use it at the best opportunity.
- Keep the pool points in mind — in Pool Rummy a player is eliminated when they reach a set number of points, so point management is important.
